ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates, 17th November 2015 — Knowledge E
Knowledge E actively participated in the 2015 Annual Ankabut Users’ Meeting, held at New York University in Abu Dhabi over the last two days, 16th and 17th November. During an eFADA http://efada.ankabut.ac.ae session hosted by Dr. Dorothy Furber Byers, members discussed the merits of consortium-based scholarly content provision to academic libraries and the efficiencies of using Knowledge E as the consortium content buyer. Knowledge E also hosted one of the break out sessions with Research Services Director, Philip Purnell, delivering a talk on the use of bibliometrics in research evaluation. The talk stimulated intense discussion that will no doubt be continued at next week’s workshop on the same topic.
