ABOUT

THE World University Rankings, Data Definitions & Data Submission Process
The session will include a brief overview of the World University Rankings and the underlying methodology, explaining further the criteria for inclusion and how the different data sources feed into the metrics. Aside from reputation data and bibliometrics, which we source externally, the universities have to submit data into our online platform (THE Data Collection Portal). Definitions of the data we request (such as academic staff, research income) may need further explanations which we will cover. The session will be complete with a live demonstration of the data submission process in the THE Data Collection Portal, allowing for Questions & Answers at the end.

THE Academic Reputation Survey
The session will include a brief overview of Times Higher Education Global Academic Reputation Survey including methodology and results from the latest survey from the region and Egypt. The session will include a short demo from THE DataPoints Reputation module, a tool to measure, monitor and analyze an institution’s global reputation and brand performance.
