Graduate Employability for Future Landscapes: Essential Skills for Global Dexterity (Egyptian Knowledge Bank)
Egypt

Intended Audience

This course is ideal for postgraduate scholars and early career university staff interested to learn more about how global dexterity can support their efforts in multi-national organizations.

Course Details

Professor Andy Molinsky describes global dexterity as “the ability to successfully adapt your behavior in a foreign culture without losing yourself in the process. It’s about “fitting in” without “giving in” – learning to adapt your behavior to the new cultural rules, but doing so in a way that’s within your comfort zone.” To be successful in today’s global society, it is essential that young professionals possess the capability to collaborate and engage with individuals and organizations outside of their cultural safe zone.

In this highly interactive course, participants will explore the concept of global dexterity by practicing its core pillars and relate these skills to graduate employability in the workforce.
