Knowledge E is partnering with ORCID to host a webinar at the ETD Virtual 2020, introducing ORCID and use cases. Knowledge E’s Publishing Editor Mohamad Mostafa will be speaking at the upcoming ETD2020.
Speaker
Mohamad Mostafa is the Publishing Editor for Knowledge E’s publishing division. He holds a BSc. in Physics from Menoufia University, Egypt.
Mohamad has extensive experience of the academic publishing sector, with a particular focus on Open Access, and his expertise is reflected in his position as the Crossref Ambassador for the region. In addition to working closely with Crossref, he also collaborates with ORCID to create their dedicated Arabic interface for the Middle East, and is a regular presenter for both organisations. Finally, during his time working for Knowledge E, Mohamad launched a special initiative to help researchers avoid predatory conferences and identify reputable events to present their papers at. “Think. Check. Attend.” is the sister-initiative of “Think. Check. Submit.”, a cross-industry initiative combatting predatory publishing.
