The role

As Head of Business Development, you will lead strategic growth initiatives across key markets, identify and capitalise on new opportunities, and nurture high-impact relationships with partners, clients, and stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and aligning business development efforts with overall company objectives. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive revenue growth by leading the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, across multiple markets
  • Define and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company goals
  • Identify and capitalise on new market trends, opportunities, and partnerships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-level clients and partners to secure long-term business
  • Manage and grow a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce and other tools
  • Represent the company at key industry events and networking opportunities to expand visibility and generate leads
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and high client satisfaction

Minimum job qualifications         

  • Experience working with the academic, research, or government sectors
  • Proven experience in senior or leadership business development roles across the region
  • Strong track record in meeting or exceeding sales and partnership targets
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to see the big picture and connect the dots
  • Experience managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships
  • Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)

  • Background in education technology, digital solutions, or telecom
  • Strong network in the MENA region
