DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 4th September 2017 – Zayed University and Knowledge E announced today that an agreement has been reached in which Knowledge E will take over the electronic hosting and publishing of Zayed University’s journal Arab Journal of Nutrition & Exercise (ISSN 2518-6590). In response to growing regional interest in this interdisciplinary field that bridges nutrition and exercise – both hot topics in the Arab region – the journal will be published online and welcomes submissions of new manuscripts from fellow academics who are seeking a suitable journal to disseminate their findings. Under the conditions of the agreement, Knowledge E will begin publishing the journal immediately including all previous issues back to Vol. 1 Issue 1.
Prof. Michael Allen, Assistant Provost for Research said: “Research, discovery, and the dissemination of knowledge are central to the mission of Zayed University. We are very happy to be working with Knowledge E to publish a journal that will make available the latest research related to nutrition and exercise relevant to, or emerging from, the Arab world.”
Knowledge E has launched a proprietary publishing platform, www.knepublishing.com to support the open access dissemination of university and institutional journals and conference proceedings for the benefit of the global scholarly community. Philip J. Purnell, Knowledge E Director of Research & Publishing Services said: “We are fully committed to providing a world-class electronic publishing service for the academic research community that seeks to globalise findings in response to a regional need.”
