9 Years – But Who’s Counting?

Anniversaries are always a great opportunity to look back at the milestones of the past. Every September since 2012, we celebrate a new year at Knowledge E, and this marks our ninth. Looking back at the years that have passed, we’re proud to say we’re now nine years old – and much like other nine-year-olds, it’s fair to say, we “grew up so fast”.

Nine Years at a Glance

In nine years, the KnE team has accomplished far more than we are able cram into one blog post. Nonetheless, here’s a brief timeline of how we have been evolving since 2012.

Traditions That Bring Us Together

Over the years we have developed some traditions, practises, and recurring events to help unite, empower, and nurture the KnE team and spirit. Furthermore, we welcomed 14 new joiners into our team this year and celebrated their arrival to KnE in as many ways as possible.

From welcome lunches to ensure every new joiner receives a warm introduction, to meeting-free days, birthday celebrations and team get-a-ways, we always make sure that everyone at Knowledge E feels at home and cared for.

Some of our other traditions are annual ‘KnE’s Sales Day’ and ‘Strategy Days’ to keep everyone updated on achievements, challenges, and objectives for the months to come. Read more about our most recent Mid-Year Strategy Day here.

A Word from Our CEO

“For the past nine years, we have been witnessing team members join and flourish, and partnerships start and grow. It hasn’t always been easy and there are ups and downs but where we are right now is a testament to our hard work and our ability to respond to the underlying need for scholarly resources, building capacity, and research support in the region. We are both proud and confident that the coming years will hold more significant milestones as we continue to assist organisations and individuals on their journey to attain academic excellence.”

– Kamran Robert Kardan, CEO and Founder of Knowledge E.

Giving Back to the Global Community

While development, growth, and expansion are inherent priorities for every business, we believe that true triumph lies in a company’s ability to positively impact the lives of others. In 2017, we partnered with Dubai Cares and pledged to adopt a school a year. Last year, we fulfilled our promise and contributed to building a total of four schools. With the support of our partners, we funded a school in Senegal, one in Cambodia, and two in Malawi. We are glad to be able to promote knowledge economies across the world, especially in underprivileged communities where it is needed the most. Our mission of ‘creating a more knowledgeable world’ doesn’t end with the services we provide. We are committed to promoting knowledge anywhere and everywhere and are always looking for the next opportunity to give back.
