[:en]ABOUT
This workshop will raise capacities of potential Egyptian researchers through acquiring the essential skills and knowledge needed to submit competitive research proposals. The workshop has been prepared considering the specific needs of the Egyptian societal challenges (scarcity of resources, the sustainable utilization of renewable energy) and the possible connection to the wide community of researchers and academics in other African and Mediterranean countries.
The workshop will be instructive and will give participants the opportunity to raise their own points of view or to address specific questions concerning them either with the group or privately. There will be a series of short lectures with breaks for questions, comments and input from participants and some practical examples to work on.
In order to successfully complete this workshop course, participants will be required to complete a pre-course writing assignment which will be received upon workshop registration.
