Start Date: June 12, 2023
End Date: June 12, 2023
Location: Virtual

The Forum for Open Research in MENA (F.O.R.M.) is collaborating with ORCID for its community development activity — a free one-hour webinar that will highlight the benefits of persistent identifiers (PIDs) for researchers. Taking place on the 12th of June at 11am GST, the workshop will explore how PIDs can help support the expansion of Open Science practices by facilitating the creation and preservation of accurate and transparent scholarly records.

This session aims to give an overview on ORCID in Open Science – how ORCID collaborates with other persistent identifiers (PIDs) providers, why and how national communities work with ORCID, and ORCID’s adoptions in different research workflows.
