At Knowledge E, we are passionate about staying up to date on the latest developments within academic libraries and information services to ensure we are offering our clients the very best services. For this reason, we are delighted to be participating in the International Association of University Libraries (IATUL) conference, which will be held at Zayed University, Dubai, and the American University of Sharjah, Sharjah. The 43rd annual IATUL conference is being held under the theme ‘Libraries Pushing Boundaries’. Our Head of Publishing, Emily Choynowski, will discuss how the Knowledge E Foundation’s new initiative — Forum for Open Research in MENA (F.O.R.M.) — is supporting the region’s research libraries. Her presentation will provide an overview of the current situation, including the unique challenges faced by libraries in the region, and then outline some of the key solutions and strategies F.O.R.M. is working on to address these challenges.
