Knowledge E and ADEC provide Grant Writing Workshops at Zayed University

Knowledge E produced 2 workshops for Zayed University on ‘Successful Research Grant Proposal Writing’ on both campuses this week. On Monday, 11th January, speaker Martina Newell-McGloughlin, Research Division Manager at Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) and internationally renowned researcher, grant writer and reviewer delivered an informative and articulate session after which she said: “I am pleased to have engaged directly with Zayed University’s research community to support their drive to ensuring high quality grant proposals.” The second workshop was given by Philip Purnell, Research Director at Knowledge E on Tuesday 12th January and in total the two workshops attracted over 120 faculty members. Zayed University was pleased to have hosted workshops on this important topic as they gave the faculty valuable insight into the workings of the grant review process that will help to further improve grant proposals going forward.
