This is an introductory course and lays the foundation for commercialising intellectual property or research, identifying and approaching potential clients, and developing and pitching a proposal.

Course 03: Developing a Commercial Proposal

Building on the previous courses, this course explores proactive approaches to funding, risk management, and crafting compelling project proposals.

Course 04: Presenting a Compelling Proposal and Securing the Deal

This final course in the knowledge track guides participants in designing project workloads, creating persuasive pitches, and mastering negotiation strategies.

Meet the Expert: Andrew Corcoran

Andrew holds an MBA and an MA in Education and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has worked within the Higher Ed sector for more than 20 years and is currently Head of MBA Programmes, as well as Associate Professor of Marketing at Nottingham University Business School.

Andrew has previously started Blueberry Training Limited in 2004 to supply enterprise and knowledge exchange training to the Higher Education sector. He is the proud author of multiple books, including Academic Enterprise: A Field Guide (ISBN 9780956457240).
