The Knowledge E Foundation is proud to be supporting yet another noble initiative that puts people at the centre of what it does; this time in Svay Khleang, Cambodia. The Spring of Hope School was born out of a beautiful human story where people from different parts of the world came together to fulfil a need and endorse a cause that will uplift the seemingly forgotten community of Svay Khleang through education.
In 2012, Osman, a native researcher from Svay Khleang, helped locate the birth parents of a New York Architect’s adopted daughter. After the search was concluded, Osman communicated the educational challenges of his community to the architect and stressed its dire need for supplemental education.
When the Spring of Hope School first opened its doors in 2013, it had around 40 students. Today, and thanks to the support of multiple charitable persons and organisations like Knowledge E, it caters to the English language and digital literacy needs of more than 400 students.
Knowledge E’s donation has enabled the school to purchase new laptops, fans, and shades, improve cell phone use among students, offer additional resources and trainings to teachers, as well as hire private tutors to better prepare students for the official high school exams, paving the way towards a smooth transition to college.

Ten years after its inception, the foundation remains steadfast in its commitment to humanity, education, research, and the sharing of knowledge.
