ABOUT SHARJAH INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR/ALA LIBRARY CONFERENCE
The American Library Association (ALA) provides leadership for the development, promotion, and improvement of library and information services and the profession of librarianship in order to enhance learning and ensure access to information for all.
The Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) is one of the largest book fairs in the world, the most prestigious in the Arab world and home to the most exciting literary event in the region. “For the love of the written word” is its inspiration, passion and reason for being.
The Combined Book Exhibit collaborates with ALA and SIBF to manage the conference and is the sponsor liaison and support.
