This session began with an introduction to the European Union’s PRIMA funding programme and quickly moved into the specifics of preparing a project idea and leading into a full proposal for one of the PRIMA calls. The session becamea coaching session and guided the participants to the eventual submission of their proposal. The workshop provided researchers the key methodologies that enable them to write a proposal in response to a call for funding with a high chance of successful funding. The workshop was be instructive and gave participants the opportunity to raise their own points of view or to address specific questions concerning them either with the group or privately. There was a series of short lectures with breaks for questions, comments and input from participants and some practical examples to work on.

Dr. Nicola Tucci

Dr. Nicola Tucci is a Legal and Environmental Policy Advisor. He holds a master’s degree in International Law and Political Science, Master of Arts in Political Governance and a Ph. D. in Geopolitics.
Nicola has more than 15 years of experience in project writing (FP7, LIFE, ECOINNOVATION, ENPI-CBC, ENI, H2020) and training of students, professionals and public officials from Central administration, regional and local authorities, both from EU Member States, MENA Countries and Latin America on how to write a good proposal and create a winning consortium.
Nicola also has more than 10 years’ experience as strategic advisor for University of Pisa (Italy), University of Salvador Argentina) and University of Republic (Uruguay) in planning university port graduate courses in fields of ICT, Environment and Governance, drafting and managing the cooperation models between several universities.[:]
