The Knowledge E Foundation, in partnership with Knowledge E and Gulf Conferences, is organising the Forum for Open Research in MENA (F.O.R.M.), with the endorsement and support of our partners, UNESCO and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB).
The movement towards Open Science is vitally important for ensuring the accessibility, inclusivity, and long-term sustainability of our education systems and communities. By bringing together leading international experts and key regional stakeholders, we are aiming to support the advancement of Open Research across the Middle East and North Africa through the exchange of actionable insights and the development of practical policies.
We invite librarians, researchers, government policy makers and higher-education institutions across the Middle East and North Africa to discuss new findings, research and case studies on any aspect of Open Research. Proposals for 20-minute papers, pre-made panels, and roundtable sessions are all welcome. The submission deadline is 31st August 2022. Please email any enquiries to the organisers (addressed to Dr Emily Choynowski) at contact@forumforopenresearch.com.
To set up meetings and appointments with us during the event, please reach out by email to events@knowledgee.com.
