Following the success of the Knowledge E Foundation’s first Forum for Open Research in MENA (F.O.R.M.) event, we are delighted to announce the launch of F.O.R.M.’s Open Access Community Development Series! F.O.R.M. is collaborating with the International Science Council for its first event — a free webinar exploring pre-prints in the MENA region.
The three-hour workshop, titled ‘Open Science and the Dissemination of Scholarly Knowledge
Normalising Pre-prints: The MENA Dialogue’, will be held on the 28th of February at 1pm GST. Designed for researchers, policymakers, librarians, academicians, Open Science advocates, and all stakeholders of the scholarly publishing system in the Arab world, the event will explore the nature, impact, and benefits of scientific pre-prints for the entire scholarly ecosystem. Participants will also gain a deeper understanding of the global Open Science landscape and the International Science Council’s work on scholarly publishing.
Seats are limited for the webinar. To save your spot, register now.
