The Charleston Conference is an annual, globally renowned gathering that bridges the gap between librarians, publishers, electronic resource managers, and library material vendors. Centered around the theme, “When the winds of change blow, some build walls and others build windmills,” the 2026 conference dives deep into the seismic shifts reshaping scholarly communication—most notably, the rapid integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and agentic workflows into library systems, and the evolving criteria for evaluating and governing AI responsibly.
Knowledge E is delighted to be participating in this vital industry dialogue. In addition to attending, we will be speaking during the Vendor Showcase, where our Founder & CEO, Kamran Kardan, will be presenting a live demo during the showcase on November 3 in collaboration with WT Cox. Alongside Kamran, our Head of Marketing, Lisette Van Kessel, will be onsite. During the showcase you can find quite likely find her at the WT Cox booth. If you are also heading to Charleston, we would love to connect, share insights, and discuss how we can work together to support the evolution of research dissemination.
Please note our online session with Corey Halaychik, University of Texas at Austin libraries, discussing the need of search when AI has already read everything as part of the Charleston online conference, will go live on 2 November.
