Knowledge E is partnering with the Central Library and Continuous Education Center at Middle Technical University in Iraq to host a FREE and English webinar on ‘Academic Libraries during COVID-19: Opportunities & User Needs’. This webinar will review best practices for academic libraries to support their users in the shift to online activities during the pandemic.

Knowledge E’s eLearning expert, Caryn Anderson has been teaching online for more than 13 years to outstanding reviews. In this webinar, she will present strategies, methods, and resources for supporting remote teaching, learning, and research.

Speaker

Caryn Anderson is a civic society development specialist focused on knowledge and information services, scientific research quality and impact, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is motivated by a vision of societies where all members are informed critical thinkers, cooperatively engaged in the social, economic, and environmental health of their communities. Caryn’s extensive experience includes consultation and training for higher education, libraries, non-profits, and the government ministries coordinating with these sectors, especially in developing countries in the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. She is Associate Editor of the high-impact research journal, Library and Information Science Research, and a Fulbright Specialist. Caryn is exceptionally highly-rated as an “online education” faculty member for the Simmons University School of Library and Information Science, where she has taught graduate-level technology classes online and library capacity development.
