This course is ideal for the following audience:
• Selected professors of Egyptian faculties of physics who are involved in the design and the practical implementation of a competency-based student-centred curriculum.
This two-day online workshop will address practicalities and implementation of a range of problem-based approaches and assessment. Day 1 will focus on how problem-based approaches have been used to successfully improve student engagement. During the workshop, participants will explore problem-based learning and discuss relevant examples and cultural issues. Day 2 will probe into summative and formative assessments, e-assessments, and group assessments, and discuss issues covering authentic assessments and the relation to problem-based approaches‹ Back
