ACRL President and Dean of the College of University Libraries and Learning Sciences at the University of New Mexico. With an educational background that includes a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania and graduate degrees in Survey Research, Library & Information Studies, and Screenwriting, Dr. Lo brings a diverse and comprehensive skill set to his role.

A key area of focus for Dr. Lo is integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into library services and academic support, aligning with the evolving landscape of library sciences and education technology. He actively engages in research and discussions around AI, aiming to enhance AI literacy and its ethical application in academia. Dr. Lo’s work in this domain is characterised by a balance of strategic leadership and a hands-on approach to the challenges and opportunities presented by AI in educational settings.
