Dr Emily Choynowski is the Chief Academic Officer at Knowledge E. She is also the Co-Founder and Director of the Forum for Open Research in MENA, working with key regional stakeholders to promote the development and implementation of open science policies and practices across the Arab region. Emily also serves on the Advisory Board of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and various working groups and committees including the European Network of Academic Integrity, and the International Open Access Week Committee.
