Knowledge E Materials Science conference indexed in Web of Science

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 19th March 2017 — Knowledge E is proud to announce our first conference proceedings indexed in Clarivate Analytics Web of Science (formerly Thomson Reuters and ISI).

The IV Sino-Russian ASRTU Symposium on Advanced Materials and Processing Technology was celebrated at Ural Federal University, Russia between the 23rd and 26th June, 2016. The conference was organized by the Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities (ASRTU), Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMSTU), Ural Federal University (UrFU), Pacific National University (PNU) and the proceedings have been published in KnE Materials Science (ISSN: 2519-1438).

Knowledge E launched our proprietary publishing platform in June, and in its first 8 months we have already successfully published over 400 conference papers organised into 6 subject series from researchers from USA, Germany, Malaysia, Russia, China, France, Spain, New Zealand, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, Australia, United Kingdom and Portugal.

Philip J. Purnell, Knowledge E Director of Research & Publishing Services exclaimed “this is a very important milestone for Knowledge E because having your paper on the Conference Proceedings Citation Index increasingly counts towards academic career progression and it now counts towards some university rankings systems.”

The Web of Science is one of the world’s most prestigious and selective citation index and the Conference Proceedings Citation Index includes nearly 10,000,000 conference papers. Scholars around the world can easily find relevant studies once indexed which also counts the number of citations received by each paper.
