The Sudan Journal of Medical Sciences (SJMS) has been accepted for indexing in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 15th April 2018 – Knowledge E is pleased to announce that the Sudan Journal of Medical Sciences has been accepted for indexing in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). The DOAJ database routinely evaluates open access journals against a set of 55 strict quality criteria and now lists more than 10,000 journals in all subject areas. Its aim is to increase the visibility and readability of open access scientific and scholarly journals in order to increase their usage and impact and provide reassurance to readers and authors that the journals and their publishers adhere to internationally accespted ethical publishing practices.

 

Dr. Nazik Husain, the Sudan Journal of Medical Sciences Assistant Editor-in-Chief welcomed the news and said ‘This is an important milestone for the journal as we aim to promote it globally and continue to attract high quality submissions’.
