DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 13th February 2017 — Knowledge E is pleased to announce the publication of the official proceedings of the International Conference on Design and Technology (DesTech) that took place at the Centre for Advanced Design in Engineering Training (CADET), Waurn Ponds Campus, Deakin University in Geelong, Australia between the 5th and 8th December, 2016.
The DesTech conference is a unique celebration of interdisciplinary research, in which Deakin University’s School of Engineering and School of Communication & Creative Arts have joined forces to contribute to the interaction of design and technology across branches of science, engineering, technology and business.
In total, 43 key papers were selected for publication in the KnE Engineering Series under the Creative Commons license that guarantees freedom to view, download and re-use (with proper acknowledgement) by the scholarly community around the world.
KnE Engineering (ISSN: 2518-6841) is now actively seeking high quality conferences in subject areas including chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering and mechanical engineering in order to elevate the global audiences and enrich the world’s scholarly literature in this important field.
All KnE Publishing conferences are initially screened for academic rigour, each paper passes through the Crossref Similarity Check to detect possible plagiarism and protect KnE Publishing content against future plagiarism and each paper is granted long term archiving in the Portico system.
