AESIS
AESIS is a global network of over 3,000 professionals focused on improving how the societal impact of research is recognised, assessed and integrated into policy and practice. Its members include researchers, funders, policymakers and university leaders. AESIS has recently become part of the Knowledge E Foundation. It runs hands-on training courses in impact assessment, organises annual conferences on science-policy engagement, and facilitates international study tours that expose participants to real-world models of research impact. It also publishes practical guides and frameworks for institutions looking to embed impact into their research strategies. Through these activities, AESIS helps shape more transparent, accountable and relevant research systems that respond to societal needs.
